In 2008, the casting team of
Balaji Telefilms invited Sushant Singh Rajput for their audition and Sushant
Singh Rajput played the role of Preet Juneja in “Kiss Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil”.
His character in the show was killed long ago, but the audience liked that
character a lot.
In June 2009, Sushant Singh
Rajput started acting in “Pavitra Rishta”, a serious and mature character. His
work in the serial received widespread acclaim, and Sushant Singh Rajput
received three major television awards for Best Male Actor and Most Popular
Actor. This performance was his success and he made him step into films.

In May 2010, Sushant Singh
Rajput joined the dance reality show “Zara Nachke Dikha 2”. Rajput Mast was
part of the Kalander Boys team in “Zara Nachke Dikha”. He shot “Pavitra Rishta”
and “Zara Nachke Dikha 2” at the same time. In the special episode of Mother's
Day, her team dedicated a performance to her mother, who died in 2002.
In December 2010, Sushant
singh Rajput participated in another dance-based reality show, “Jhalak Dikhhla
Jaa 4”, where she was paired with choreographer Shampa Sonthalia.

Films:
Sushant Singh Rajput and Abhishek Kapoor's “Kai Po Che!”
were chosen to play one of the three leads along with Rajkumar Rao and Amit
Sadh.

His second film was “Shuddh Desi Romance” with Parineeti
Chopra and Vaani Kapoor. Directed by Manesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj
Films, the film deals with the theme of live-in relationships and was shot
entirely in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Sushant's next role was in Rajkumar Hirani's
2014 film “PK”.

Although her role was relatively minor, the film gave her an
opportunity to work with Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma. After its release, the
film proved to be one of the highest grossing Indian films.
In 2015, Rajput's only release was Dibakar Banerjee's
mystery thriller “Detective Byomkesh Bakshi”.
In 2016, he starred in the film MS, based on the
biography of Neeraj Pandey. “Dhoni: The Untold Story”, Indian cricketer
Mahendra Singh appeared in the lead role of Dhoni. The film was a critical and
commercial success.

In 2017, she appeared in Dinesh Vijan's “Raabta”, co-starring
Kriti Sanon.
In 2018, he appeared in “Kedarnath”, a love story set in
the backdrop of the 2013 floods in Uttarakhand, starring Sara Ali Khan. In this
film he played the role of Mansoor Khan, a Kashmiri youth.
In 2019, he appeared in Abhishek Chaubey's “Sonchiriya” opposite
Bhumi Pednekar. She appeared in Nitesh Tiwari's film “Chhichhore” opposite
Shraddha Kapoor, released on 6 September 2019. Later that year, she starred in
Drive with Jacqueline Fernandez, which released on Netflix.
In 2016, it was announced that Rajput would appear in two
films: “Chanda Mama Door Ke”, a science-fiction space film, with R. Madhavan;
And “Takudum”, a musical drama that was to be directed by Homi Adajania,
opposite Irrfan Khan and Parineeti Chopra. He later withdrew from the East
