Early Life:
Modi ji's childhood was full of difficulties.
In the early days Modi along with his father sold tea at the railway station in
Vadnagar and later along with his brother set up a tea stall at a bus stand.
Modi was very interested in theater and debate since his early days. Debate and
rhetoric were received by Modi as a gift. Modi chose to play the biggest
characters in theatrical productions, which has influenced his political image.
At the
age of eight, Modi discovered the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and began
participating in its training sessions. There, Modi met Laxmanrao Inamdar, who
joined him in the RSS as a balsavemsevak (junior cadet) and became his
political mentor. While Modi was training with the RSS, he also met Vasant
Gajendragarh and Nathal Jagdha, leaders of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, who were
members of the BJP's Gujarat unit in 1980.

with Inamdar, located at the Hedgewar Bhavan (RSS headquarters) in the city.
